Hey Doll Fans! JOSS KENDRICK IS FINALLY HERE! As we make plans to ring in a new year, American Girl doll collectors are celebrating a different occasion, the release of the annual h Girl of the Year. As Blaire gets ready to pass on the crown we get to welcome our newest friend Joselyn. Catalogs started arriving in US mailboxes yesterday and this morning she was revealed on Good Morning America. If you missed out have a look  here . Joss comes with her book and a rather unique meet outfit and of course is first ever doll with hearing loss. Hey Guys! Sorry it has been a minute since I posted last. I've added several dolls to my collection in the last while. Molly I found posted on a buy and sell page. She came in original meet. Just need to locate accessories and her glasses. Since then I have purchased both BeForever Kit Kittredge and Truly Me #76 who I bought as a lookalike for my husband. ~Athena~

Hey Guys! I ordered my first doll from ebay. Elizabeth Cole, which was released in 2005 and retired in 2010. Overall I was pretty pleased with the quality and shipping speed of this order. Elizabeth has her original hairstyle, but it was slightly disheveled. Her hair will need redoing.

Hey Guys! I made another addition to my doll collection and I am super excited to share it with you. I purchased Luciana Vega, GOTY 2018. I chose to get her because I wanted to get her before she started to retire this January when GOTY 2020 is released. I had also considered buying Blaire but seeing as she will be available for another year, I figured I'm pretty safe. I am loving her, but I have to say I was a little dissapointed in the cut of the meet dress, that is to say the way the dress sits on her. The sleeves for example stick out to the sides really badly. I much prefer her stellar outfit which I also bought. ~Athena~

Hey Guys! My Ebay order arrived and as promised I am here to share it with you. I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. My order came all the way from Hong Kong in only ten days! Can you believe that and was super affordable. I recognize that an outfit is very light but you can pay upwards to 50.00 CAD to send a doll from USA to Canada and I paid about 8.00 (no extra customs either) to bring it from Hong Kong. The condition is new. They did not mail it in an authentic American Girl box, but it was wrapped in AG tissue paper. I ordered Julie's Floral Jumpsuit which is a retired outfit that sells for upwards to 60.00 USD (close to 80.00 CAD), I paid only 20.00 USD which with conversion and shipping came out to about 35.00 CAD. I paid less than the original AG retail cost which was 28.00 US in 2015! I love this outfit it's so soft and adorable and totally suits the flared craze of the 1970s. I haven't added julie to my collection yet but I've attache...

Hey Doll Lovers! So we all have pretty much figured out that Joss Kendrick, trademarked by American Girl, is to be the name of the Girl of the Year 2020, but is there anything we really know about her? We can surmise that she might be connected to the Summer Olympics 2020 which is being held in Tokyo, Japan. Some bloggers have suggested perhaps a dancer or cheerleader. There was a cheerleading picture posted by American Girl's facebook page recently so maybe that theory has some merit. I can't see them doing another dancer as they have already had three. I would love to see another athletic GOTY but maybe something we haven't seen before like a tennis officianado would be really cool. My last question is this, if the games is to take place in Japan, would they perhaps create another asian-american doll? These are my thoughts on Joss Kendrick, do you agree or disagree?
